Hi! I'm Tracey Harty. I've had an interest in quilting for a couple decades but hadn't sewn much until the last few years...and am now obsessed. I really love the process of getting excited about a pattern, selecting beautiful fabrics, accurately cutting them, then piecing the quilt into a work of art. I find the need for precision an interesting challenge. I learn so much every time!

Around Christmas 2019, I decided to try my hand at making a lined tote bag and found out how fun that is! It's great to create a usable piece in a short time frame, and now I've found there are all kinds of great fabrics for bags and backpacks, opening another door into hand-making items that are traditionally mass-produced.

It's a joy to say, "Yes, I made this!"
